Tryton
Elementary part of our solutions is the open source application platform Tryton. Tryton emerged from the TinyERP project (later OpenERP, then ODOO) and is developed since 2008. Virtual things is using Tryton successfully in production since the first released version. The following line-up shows the important functions and properties of Tryton.
Platform Independency
Tryton can be operated on all major platforms (Windows, Linux, BSD, OS X). The web technologies provided by Tryton and our software components can be accessed via modern mobile platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, …)
Multi-User Capability
Tryton is designed as a multi-user system and provides extensive functionalities for managing access permissions. These permissions can be assigned depending on objects (eg invoice, purchase, sale, …), data records or single fields in data records. The number of allowed users is unlimited.
Multilingualism
Tryton is consistently designed for multilingualism. All functions for you and your employees are always provided in German and English language. For many program features, there are also translations for French, Spanish and other languages. Additional translations can be added.
Special characters or languages that read from right to left may be used, due to the full UTF-8 integration in Tryton. Multilingual documents and reports can be created and managed, too.
Multi-Currency Support
Tryton is consistently capable of multi-currencies. All necessary information for the adequate wording and presentation of currencies are always up to date and included in Tryton. The rules for setting exchange rates are customizable.
Reports
Reports can be designed in Open Document Format (ODF) with the help of LibreOffice / OpenOffice. A variety of report output formats (eg PDF, ODT, ODS, DOC, XLS, PPT, …) are available. Alternative report generators can be integrated for specific requirements.
Views and Graphs
In Tryton all data is basically represented as list and form. To get a quick overview of the current state of your enterprise use individually configurable dashboard views. Chart graphics integrated into the system give you quick insight into otherwise difficult to catch scenarios.
Scalability
Tryton and all other software components we use can be
tailored and operated to your individual needs.
You could start with a single installation on a server.
With an increasing number of users or higher requirements
multiple components can be operated with a load balancing
system and and distributed to different servers.
Time and Event Driven Actions
Let predictable and recurring tasks done automated by Tryton. Get informed when an automated task could not be executed successfully. You decide if canceled tasks will be repeated or not.
Modularity
The high modularity of Tryton is an ideal base for individual adaptations and extensions to the needs of your business. You install only what you really need. In this way it is possible for us to give you a clean interface, which is free from unnecessary complexity. Tryton itself has already a number of generic modules targeting the following topics: invoicing, accounting, stock, purchasing, sales, project management, cost accounting, e-commerce, CRM and production.
Interoperability
With its modern service-oriented architecture Tryton can be well integrated in your existing IT infrastructure. The following are some examples from our practice:
- Authentication via LDAP
- Connect with other applications via web services (XML-RPC, JSON)
